The Today show threw Twitter into a conniption during a segment with Al Roker.
Al and his brother Chris brought their family's favorite Thanksgiving dish to the show and demonstrated how to make it. It's a lovely sweet potato dish but the family refers to it as 'sweet potato poon'.
Urban Dictionary must be unavailable at the Today show because surely a producer would have stopped Al Roker from going on national television calling his precious food dish 'poon'!
Now, 'sweet potato poon' is trending on Twitter for all the wrong reasons and turning heads.
