GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The man charged in two Grand Rapids murders is going to prison for at least one of them.
A jury on Thursday found Vicente Rodriguez-Ortiz guilty of first-degree murder in the Jan. 23, 2018 shooting death of 17-year-old Andrew Hawkins.
Police found Hawkins on Second Street NW near Garfield Avenue, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He died at the hospital.
