Just Tuesday, we mentioned how Cardi was going to sue two bloggers for defamation, saying she used drugs and was a prostitute. Cardi denied using drugs. However, Cardi definitely isn't new to being around drugs. There was a video that resurfaced of the rapper admitting that when she was a stripper, if someone wanted to have sex, she would agree, only to drug them and rob them. She claims that's what she had to do to get by. Now we all know some people may have a past with having to get by in life, but whoa! This isn't a good look for the rapper. And naturally, when Cardi caught wind of this old video, she jumped on social media and said it was her past that she isn't proud of. Cardi said, "I never claim to be perfect or come from a perfect world wit a perfect past I always speak my truth I always own my shit. I’m apart of a hip hop culture where you can talk about where you come from, talk about the wrong thing you had to do to get where you are. There are rappers that glorify murder violence drugs an robbing. Crimes they feel they had to do to survive. I never glorified the things I brought up in that live I never even put those things in my music because I’m not proud of it and feel a responsibility not to glorify it. I made the choices that I did at the time because I had very limited options." Well, we will see if people will cancel Cardi, or keep riding with her.
