An accountant has lost her job after berating a man at a Starbucks in Palo Alto for wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat. Rebecca Parker Mankey continued the attacks online.
The confrontation happened Monday, and went viral.
According to the man who called himself Victor F, Mankey tried to rile people up in the store by saying, “‘Hey everybody, here’s this racist.’
Online, Mankey said she was disappointed that everyone didn't mob Victor F.
Her efforts ended up backfiring, with people attacking her and her workplace.
Gryphon Stringed Instruments, where she worked, decided to fire her after reading her Facebook posts.
