Last night, my family and I attended a sneak preview of Zoo Lights at the Houston Zoo.
It was awesome!
Here's a few pics of what you can expect...
As you walk the pathways throughout the zoo, you'll come across all kinds of cool backdrops that are perfect for pictures.
One of my favorites was this tree with words of encouragement...
The whole Zoo Lights experience has changed since the last time I went.
I could tell immediately that more lights and decorations have been added.
Everything seems to be a lot bigger too, like these massive reindeer...
There's several of them just hanging out by the main entrance.
My kids loved to see that the animals were celebrated in Christmas lights.
Check out this octopus...
You'll come across all sorts of animals like zebras, apes, lions, butterflies and so many more.
In the Enchanted Forest, watch out for snakes!
You'll run into a few more surprises in this area too.
I'm not going to spoil anything for you.
This is also where I came across the biggest tiger I've ever seen...
There were plenty of animals lit up in lights.
All of the displays were really impressive.
Here's a cool holiday train featuring a familiar driver...
Even though I shared a bunch of pics from our night out, there's still so much more to see.
I didn't even tell you about the Snow Zones, all the food & beverages available or the awesome synchronized music & lights at the reflection pool.
If you're looking for something fun to do with your entire family, head to the zoo.
