WiLD 95.5 at EDC Orlando 2022!

With all the headliners returning home, it’s time WiLD goes over how fantastic EDC Orlando 2022 has become.  Insomniac Events made their return back to Orlando for three days and they brought out over 100,000 electronic music fans to the festival. This year EDC Orlando became a post-hurricane party for concert goers.

Stages:

The festival had 4 big stages set up around the venue with another 2 smaller stages for a more intimate experience. Attendees could find themselves getting lost in the music at kineticFIELD, circuitGROUNDS, stereoBLOOM and neonGARDEN. I had the pleasure of catching a surprise set from ARMNHMR at the Corona Beach Stage.

Interactive Art & Thrill Rides:

Electronic Daisy Carnival attendees could find colorful artwork and thrill rides all over the venue if they were looking for some additional fun at the carnival. One of my favorite rides is the huge Ferris wheel that gives riders incredible views of Kinetic Field. Another ride available was the spinning swings near the StereoBLOOM stage. The Pixel Forest art display returned this year and was a great spot to hangout and take pictures at.

After Parties:

One official EDC Orlando after party that I attended was the performance by Slander & Ray Volpe at The Vanguard on Saturday Night. Both artists had fabulous performances and the crowd loved both DJ’s. Ray Volpe played his song “Laserbeam”, which is one of biggest songs in the electronic music world right now. Also, The Vanguard had Kaskade for preparty  for those in Orlando the Thursday night before the festival.

Interviews

I had the chance to sit down with a few very talented artists at the EDC Press Lounge. My first interview at EDC Orlando was with Ray Volpe, who has one of the biggest EDM songs “Laserbeams”. Between new releases and shows to play, Ray Volpe has so much planned for 2023.

Another artist that I had the pleasure to chat with is Danny, aka SVDDEN DEATH. We chatted about how unique his sound is and how he’s able to captivate his audience. Also, I tried getting Danny to talk about his secret house project. SVDDEN DEATH will be making a return to Orlando on November 23rd at the Vanguard.

I met up with the artist, Moovy, for the first time and she has some insane tracks. I know she brought out a huge crowd to opening day on the circuitGROUNDS Stage. You can see her playing on the second day of Cyclops Cove in December.
