On this day, back in 2001…. 9.25 million viewers tuned in to FOX to watch episode 1 of the show, 24…. Starring Kiefer Sutherland. (And 9.25 million people… was considered a big success)
I know we always talk about Seinfeld & Friends for having huge viewer numbers on their final episodes… but that’s NOT how those shows started on DAY ONE… (Seinfeld Episode 1 actually had SIX VIEWERS - and two of them were Jerry’s parents)
