On this day in 1909…. Explorer, Robert Peary, became the FIRST PERSON EVER to reach the North Pole… Which is honestly impressive cuz I can barely find my CAR in a Target parking lot.
But this dude traveled across miles of ice… freezing temperatures…. And zero Wi-Fi… all just to stand somewhere & go, ‘“Yep… this is definitely the top.”
And ever since then… the world has been a better place… I can’t exactly explain HOW… but just trust me… It Is.
