On this day in 1892… Abercrombie & Fitch opened their doors selling hunting, fishing & outdoor supplies
Fast forward to their HEYDEY in the 1990s…those fishing rods & hunting vests were REPLACED… with shirtless dudes trying to sell you Tight-Fitting Polos & over powering colognes.
But that was THEN….. the world’s changed, and you MAY THINK Abercrombie is 10 feet under…. But you’d be wrong…they still have over 230 locations in Shopping Malls across the country….
And a lot of OTHER iconic Retailers weren’t so lucky… they went the way of the Dodo…
