Britney Spears Celebrates 18 Year Anniversary Of '...Baby' Video Shoot, Director Responds (PHOTO)

Exactly 18 years ago, a fresh faced 16-year-old teenager named Britney Spears took to California's Venice High School, the same school used for Grease, to film the video for her debut single, "...Baby One More Time," and since then, our lives were never the same.

On Tuesday afternoon (August 9), our iHeartRadio Music Festival performer took to social media to share a throwback shot of her on set of the shoot alongside director Nigel Dick. "Nigel Dick, director of Baby One More Time. First ever music video... 18 years ago. Most precious day of my life!!!!" she wrote in the caption.

As with recent updates in Britney-land, the message spread wild wildfire, prompting the video director, who has also worked on B's visuals for "Sometimes," "(You Drive Me)" Crazy" and "Oops!...I Did It Again," to respond to the pop titan's throwback.

"Thanks for the shout-out Britney. It was a fun three days. At the time there were people who questioned why I would think of making this video for an unknown 16-year old," he wrote. "I told them the song was going to be massive and that you had something special. So glad you showed 'em I was right!"
