Woman Banned From Zoo Because Of Her ‘Close Relationship’ With Chimp:
When it comes to the Antwerp Zoo in Belgium, there’s such a thing as being too friendly with the animals. Adie Timmermans has been visiting a 38-year-old male chimpanzee named Chita every week for four years, having what she describes as “a relationship” with the chimp. Zoo workers have now told Adie she can no longer visit Chita, as the other chimps have shunned him, leaving him alone for up to 15 hours a day. Adie and Chita would wave and blow kisses at each other through the glass enclosure; she says the ban is unfair, but zoo officials say it’s for the chimp’s own good.

A detention officer in Georgia was involved in some illegal activity at the jail where he worked.
After some undercover work, they arrested him, cut off his uniform, and posted the video . . . which upset some people, so they issued an apology.

A Washington state jail is giving inmates 10 free packs of ramen noodles in exchange for getting the vaccine.
It's called "Soups for Shots," and so far, the jail has given out 900 packets of ramen to 90 inmates.

A Corvette Owner Went for One Last Drive After Selling It and Wrecked It
A man named Spencer Everette, of Greenville, North Carolina, reached an agreement to sell his 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray recently. He was supposed to hand over the keys yesterday.
But on Monday afternoon, he decided to take it out for one "last hurrah," and he "gunned it." But he lost control, and the car drove off the road . . . into a ditch . . . and then FLIPPED onto its side.
The car was a total wreck, but Spencer wasn't hurt. It's safe to say the sale is off, and since these cars are sought after, he was probably in line to get a pile of cash. There's no word what he was selling it for.
On top of everything else, Spencer was charged with reckless driving.
