Today's question: Andre the Giant was a professional wrestler and actor who stood at 7’4 and weight 520 pounds. He was known for his size, and was one of the most recognizable people in the world while he was alive. When he would go out on the town in New York City, he had to let the NYPD know ahead of time and they would assign an officer to escort him around town, but it wasn’t to keep autograph seekers or fans away, it was for a different, very specific reason. Why would Andre the Giant need a police escort when in New York City?
