Today's question: Shades, goggles, sungies, hater blockers, aviators, sucka duckas. Sunglasses go by many names....... but today they’re the topic of the Shock Collar Question of the day. Used as protective eyewear that shields our eyes from the sun, or as a fashion statement, sunglasses didn’t start off that way. In 12th century China, the first sunglasses were a crude slab of smoky quartz, but their intended purpose wasn’t to keep the rays out, it was actually a very practical use in the Chinese legal system. What was the purpose of the first ever sunglasses?
