The first Thursday of April is celebrated as "National Burrito Day"... and did you know.... The word burrito means little donkey in Spanish. (its true)... and According to a popular theory, a Burrito represents a Donkey's ear.... and was originally served out of the back of a donkey cart. Another theory suggests that burritos were created in the a mexican restaurant in Alexis' home town where swingers meet up on the weekend.

So yes to celebrate National Burrito Day, I went on the COMPUTER and found some special burrito facts for a "Versatile, Portable and Oh So Tasty One & Done Shock"

Each of you will be asked a question about BURRITOS... get yours wrong, and you'll be shocked.

First one.... is the easiest (as per usual) so no one help her... Alexis... i need you to tell me the name of a Popular Mexican dish when you DEEP-FRY a Burrito? It's called... WHAT?

Brooke.... there's a man named Dwayne Roberts who was an entrepreneur in California in the 1950s. There's a good chance you hooked up with him when he was on the road.... but regardless.... when he created a special type of Burrito in 1956... He used a protein mixed with beans and Red Chile Powder, then shopped it to various restaurants, and soon after they gained national popularity. What type of burrito was this?

Jose - you love Asian food.... so this is perfect for you.

Right now, this type of burrito in Japan is soaring in popularity, more than ever before. It mixes Japanese & Mexican cuisine together. Tell me the name of this extremely popular dish?

And finally Burrito Jeff....or donkey jeff as they call him in Juarez.... In the 1980s, Roberto's Taco shop was behind the creation of the NOW FAMOUS "California Burrito". Which is prepared with Chicken or Beef, marinated in Mexican Spices... and with one unique addition to it. What do you add to make it a California Burrito? AND I'll give you two guesses.
