Miami, FL - A woman running late for her flight was arrested after refusing to get off the plane at a South Florida airport.
Police say 29-year-old Skylar Shiffon Pollard was arrested on Sunday on charges of disorderly conduct and violating a designated operational area of an airport.
According to investigators, Pollard was late for her Spirit Airlines flight which was already closed for boarding.
Pollard ignored boarding security procedures and boarded the plane despite being late.
When asked by Spirit employees to de-plane and go through security measures, Pollard refused.
Employees then called police.
When officers arrived, Pollard continued refusing to de-plane and was given a trespass warning, but she didn't comply.
Pollard's arrest report states all of the passengers had to de-board the plane before she was arrested.
The arrest report says "the incident caused delays to airport scheduling and functions."
Pollard, of Battle Creek, Michigan, was booked into jail.
