LONG BEACH (CNS) - A Long Beach woman who allegedly was violating a restraining order was arrested at an apartment complex early Friday, police said.
Lorrene Lake, 58, was taken into custody after officers were sent to the 2300 block of East Second Street about 12:10 a.m., according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Lake was booked on suspicion of felony criminal threats, felony possession of a firearm in violation of a court order, and misdemeanor violating a restraining order, police said.
Officers went to the apartment complex on a report of a neighbor dispute, police said.
"Upon arrival, officers contacted the calling party who stated one of the residents in the complex, a female adult suspect, was in violation of a restraining order," police said in a statement.
"During their investigation, officers discovered that the suspect was in possession of an inoperable firearm, which was subsequently recovered by officers," police said.
Lake was being held on $50,000 bail, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
