Today, we wish a very Happy Birthday to the “King of Denim”… German-American inventor Levi Strauss!
Back in the 1800s, Levi took one look at gold miners ripping their flimsy cotton trousers and said: “By Golly, we can do better!” And just like that… American blue jeans were born!
But denim isn’t the ONLY strange fashion innovation we’ve seen over the years…..
From Victorian Corsets that could crack a rib… to…. Hats made of dead raccoons… style has had some questionable moments.
