Today we celebrate: "National Tear the Tags Off the Mattress Day!”
You've probably seen in TV shows & movies where people joke...that if you tear the tag off your mattress...it's a Heinous Crime punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
But is that REALLY breaking the law? NO! Turns out it's not illegal to tear the tag off your own mattress. The warning: ‘Do Not Remove Under Penalty of Law’ — only applies to stores & manufacturers.
But it got us thinking of other things that SOUND illegal, but really aren’t — and a few things that TOTALLY ARE LEGAL, but seem like they shouldn’t be.
