On this day, in 1942… a Christmas movie called: “Holiday Inn” debuted in theaters (starring Bing Crosby & Fred Astaire)….
Ten years later…. A new road-side motel opened in Tennessee - and they named it after that film… and thus…. “The Holiday Inn” Franchise was born.
Fast forward to today… there’s thousands of locations all over the world… with millions of tiny shampoo bottles… countless mystery stains…. and generations of dads screaming, “Don’t touch anything in the minibar!!!”
