Today's question: On June 26, 1944 a once in a lifetime event happened in major league baseball. Just 20 days prior, Allied forces landed on the shores of France and in order to raise funds for the war efforts, baseball decided to hold a special attraction game with one absolutely insane rule change. The game raised 4.5 million dollars but what was really remarkable, was that the unique rule was so bizarre and that it was not seen before then.... and we’ll probably never see it again.
