On this day in 2018… Kanye West decided that his name wasn't edgy enough… so he officially changed it to… “YE” …. That’s right— “YE”… the sound children make when they spot an Ice Cream Truck
But I’m curious… do you think “Kanye West” was his Original given name at birth? Actually YES IT WAS… he was born "Kanye Omari West”.
And of course “Ye” isn't alone…. tons of other celebrities have done it - like Stephanie Germanotta (who of course, goes by: Lady Gaga)…. And “Robyn Fenty”… who’s more well-known as “Rihanna”.
