Shaboozey was feeling the love at the 2026 iHeartCountry Festival Presented by Capital One.
The Grammy winner took the stage at the Moody Center on Saturday (May 2) to perform some of his biggest hits for the Austin, Texas, crowd, and even though it is his first-ever iHeartCountry Festival, he already can't wait to come back. After a cinematic opening from his band, Shaboozey arrived on stage to loud cheers as he kicked off his set with "Last of My Kind," followed by "Amen," his Grammy-winning collaboration with Jelly Roll.
He encouraged the crowd the embrace positivity while performing "Good News," noting how "right now we need it the most," before ending with his smash hit "A Bar Song (Tipsy)," the screen behind the stage transforming the set into a honky-tonk fit for the subject of the song as the crowd screamed along to the lyrics.
Shaboozey's latest moves come amid a booming year for the artist. He took home his first ever Grammy Award in February, winning the Best Country Duo/Group Performance category for "Amen." Days after he tearfully accepted the award, he shared another powerful statement about the significance of the history-making win.
He also recently released his new song "Born to Die," from his upcoming expansive concept album The Outlaw Cheri Lee & Other Western Tales that drops July 31. He previously described the project, which has been "several years in the making," as "a western about revenge told continuously through every song, centered on the character Cherie Lee." The record will explore many timeless themes familiar to the world of westerns, such as "revenge, redemption and romance."
